A Place for You…
Dalkeith Baptist Church began with a simple but faithful vision. In 1931, Rev Beecham and a
small team of committed Christians planted the seed of what would become DBC, a
extension of Claremont Baptist Church. That seed took root, and on 14 April 1937 the church
was formally established and affiliated with the Baptist Union of Western Australia. Since
then, DBC has grown alongside the Dalkeith community it serves.
Today, Dalkeith Baptist Church remains a pillar of faith, fellowship, and welcome. As a
warm and family-focused church, we are devoted to studying and sharing God’s Word,
building genuine relationships, and sharing life together—often over a much-loved morning
tea. Our doors are open through weekly worship, prayer gatherings, and community activities
such as Singalong, Chess, Scrabble, and Table Tennis.
Whether you are exploring faith, longing for belonging, or deepening your walk with Jesus,
there is a place for you here. We believe God calls us to worship Him, serve others, and share
His love with the world around us.
Our Pastor
Pastor Gregory Lim joined Dalkeith Baptist Church in 2024 after serving faithfully as a Lead
Pastor in Melbourne. Married to Mei Lin, he is a loving father of four. Pastor Gregory i
deeply passionate about preaching God’s Word, nurturing genuine discipleship, and building
a Christ-centred community that reflects God’s grace and truth.
Vision
Dalkeith Baptist Church envisions a thriving church community that loves God and His
Word, loves people by growing through discipleship, fellowship groups, and actively
engaging our community for Christ.
Mission
We exist to grow disciples by equipping believers, encouraging fellowship, developing
mentors, and living out Christ’s mission
